As an avid traveler from the United States, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Annexe in the charming town of Sturminster Newton, Dorset. the lovely rural location and proximity to beautiful attractions such as Longleat Safari Park and the seaside town of Weymouth made it the perfect base for exploring the area. The Annexe itself was a delightful retreat, boasting garden views and a peaceful atmosphere that was ideal for relaxation. the cottage was well equipped and comfortable, with a cozy kitchen/diner and a lounge/bedroom upstairs. I particularly enjoyed spending time in the beautiful garden surrounding the cottage, which led to woods filled with bluebells in April. the serene setting and easy access to the rest of Dorset and Wiltshire made for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Annexe for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in the English countryside. With its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming host, it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to this picturesque region.
